REVIEW: BLEACH LONDON NON PERMANENT HAIR COLOUR - BRUISED VIOLET AND ROSÉ

I've wanted to try a non permanent hair dye for a while now and experiment with some fun colours for the summer, so I decided to go for the Bleach London Super Cool Colours in Rosé and Bruised Violet!

I first bought the Rosé because I read that the darker shades tend to stain your hair most, and since I wanted to wash it out quickly if I changed my mind, I went for the lighter option first.
After trying out the pink (and loving it), I decided to go for the Bruised Violet which is a bit darker - and that's what's currently on my hair and in the photos, although it does look a little bit more purple in real life.

So a bit of background info on my hair - it's quite thick, and permanently ombréd - which is why the colour shows up so well at the bottom of my hair. I definitely think that the dyes will show up and work a lot better the lighter your hair is, but since they are inexpensive you might as well try one out anyway - if your hair is darker it might just give a hint of colour instead.

How to apply

Wash your hair as usual, then towel dry it and brush it out.

Then squeeze out the dye into a small bowl - I find that half is more than enough to cover the bottom half of my hair.

After you've prepared everything, put on rubber gloves, take a bit of the dye from the bowl and apply it to your hair. Again, I just apply it on the blonde parts of my hair, work it in, and move to the next section. This honestly takes me less than 10 minutes and it's super easy to do.

After I've applied it all over my hair, I just set my timer for 15-20 minutes and wait.

So after the time's passed, just wash off the dye, blow dry your hair and you're done!

Confessing my love

I definitely love the Bleach London Non Permanent Dyes because both of the colours look absolutely amazing on my hair, although I find that they wash out very quickly (they last 1 to 2 washes on my hair).

I don't mind having to re apply the dye, especially since one bottle lasts me two uses and once you get the hang of it, the process is very simple and fairly quick.

There's loads of other colours to suit everyones preferences and needs, but the pink and purple are definitely my favourites!

*UPDATE*
After not re applying the product for a while and letting it wash out, I found that it did leave a green/blue tint to my hair that has not washed out since. Fortunately it's only on the ends of my hair - however I am not certain which colour (purple or pink) has caused this.

I do still think that the products in the two colours I have tried are great but as I said before - I would be cautious and recommend testing out the product on a small amount of hair before committing to it completely.

Thank you for reading,
