REVIEW: DIOR AIRFLASH SPRAY FOUNDATION

I love trying out new foundations, and I've always been very curious about the Dior Airflash one, so if you're still on the fence about splurging on this little beauty, maybe my review will help you out.

I went to Debenhams to get mine, and used the colour matching machine by scanning my face to see which shade would suit me most. It's a great little invention and saves you worrying about picking the best shade for your skin, and also saves a bit of time  by only testing out one shade.

I've nearly used this up completely now, but I've been using it almost everyday for the past two/three months, so it lasts for a good amount of time. It comes with 70ml of product (which is a lot more than the usual bottle of liquid foundation), but I think that's a good call - the cost is similar to any other Dior foundation, but because it's a spray foundation I think you end up using a bit more.

For this foundation, I tested out two ways of application - by putting it on a brush and blending in like a normal liquid foundation, but also by spraying it directly on my face and then using a brush just to blend everything in.
I personally think that the second technique works better, and I'm honestly so impressed by the finish of the foundation. I hold the can about 20cm away on my face, and quickly spray all over. A teeny bit does get in my hair, but honestly it doesn't bother me that much and it's very easily removed (alternatively you could also use a headband to protect your hair). Then once I've sprayed it on my face, I just use my Real Techniques buffing brush to blend in - it blends in perfectly and looks flawless - and the best thing is that it actually looks like skin, so you can't see it sitting on your skin and looking heavy. I find that the coverage is light to medium, but if you use a little bit of concealer under your eyes and on the odd blemish, it looks awesome.

WHERE TO BUY: Debenhams
